Dave discussed with the young people his journey through adversity and serious illness and how many of them can utilise his story whenever they face life's challenges.
Following Dave's 'inspirational talk', he hosted a circuit style taster session that included many of our Underground Training Stationfavourites like kettle bells, ladders, rowing, skipping rope and med ball slams.
This was the launch of a joint project in partnership with the Hive to target vulnerable young people in the area.
The first session will begin on Saturday 7th April (1:00pm) at UTS with Coach Holly Kim Parsons putting the young people through their paces to develop fitness, health, well being and essential personal skills.
The final session will include see the young people getting involved in the West Kirby Rotary Club Sponsored Walk for our Foundation to Hilbre Island on May 12th giving the opportunity for the young people to put their newly acquired skills to the test at one of Wirrals most stunning beauty spots.
