Foundation secures over £9,000 to help more cancer patients.

The UTS Foundation is extremely pleased to report that we have just secured £9,160 from the Big Lottery Fund to deliver bespoke exercise and nutrition classes to people living with and recovering from cancers. This will tie in with all of our existing work with people recovering from cancer on the Wirral and our existing partners at Wirral NHS and Clatterbridge Hospital.

This round of funding will pay to improve the well being of participants by enabling them to manage their condition better and deal with the effects of their treatment on their mental health, which can be a major debilitating factor during recovery.
