We’ve just had a fantastic morning at the Birkenhead Job Centre with Coach and UTS Director Neil Parsley delivering a talk to over 80 Job Seeker Advisors about the personal development project we delivered in partnership with Three Dimensional Training Limited and Magenta Living in February.
The project, which incorporated the Underground Training Station's unique circuit style classes and nutrition workshops was delivered to a group of adults who are undergoing a programme of confidence building, broadening horizons and readiness to work in order to enhance their job prospects. This was designed to build self confidence, resilience and improve health and well being through a series of tests and challenges, which the group met with enthusiasm and commitment.
Today, Neil presented alongside some of the people who took part in the project who were able to give real life examples about how the project and the process had inspired and motivated them to improve their health and well being whilst learning essential and transferable life skills.
The UTS Foundation is proud to be working alongside such a superb initiative that will help people turn their lives around in such a positive way. Such was the success and widespread acclaim that the project received we will be delivering another set of sessions next month to a fresh group of recruits.
